Designed in the Biedermeier style with a circular top and slender column support set on a scrolling triangular base, the flame mahogany is cut at the point a limb protrudes from the tree, which gives it a beautiful, flame-like patterning. Flame mahogany is highly prized for its inherent beauty and is also known as crotch mahogany.
